FIELD: foundry.
SUBSTANCE: method comprises steps of pouring melt magnetite into rotating mold heated till temperature 570 - 600°C; after cooling casting till temperature 600 - 570°C performing isothermal soaking for providing phase conversion; then periodically supplying water into inner cavity of casting until vapor generation is stopped.
EFFECT: improved electrical conductivity of anodes due providing homogenous large-grain structure of magnetite and reliable contact of copper cable with anode.
