FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to magnetic enrichment of iron-containing ores and can be used in the processing of ores before enrichment and obtaining raw materials for ferrous metallurgy. Iron ore material is prepared, crushed and grinded to open ore grains, iron ore material is transported to a magnetic separator and separated into magnetic and non-magnetic parts. The transportation of iron ore material is carried out through a solenoid coil connected to an adjustable high voltage direct current source.
EFFECT: invention is aimed at increasing the magnetic properties of iron ore materials, which will make it possible to widely introduce into production little-used weakly magnetic iron ores.
