FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to bore burnishing. Static load is applied to burnishing tool along machined surface and intermittent pulse load is applied via waveguide and hammer. Static load is applied by pulling burnishing tool holder with the help of compression spring secured on slides reciprocating in guides. Intermittent pulsed load is applied by pushing burnishing tool by waveguide and hammer driven by hydraulic pulse generator arranged on slides and equipped with braking chamber.
EFFECT: expanded machining performances, deeper hardened surface layer.
