FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: method involves applying ultrasonic examination of both hip joints in carrying out their sagittal and coronal scanning. A line is drawn on each produced scanogram along hackle-bone body axis and cotyloid cavity edge and then femur head projection degree is estimated above the line. Lines along femur head and its diaphysis contour axis and obtuse angle is measured between them. Femur head projection greater than 25% or more being available at least on one scanogram, anterior or lateral head sublaxation is diagnosed. The angle being greater than 130°, femur neck valgus deformity is considered to be the case.
EFFECT: high accuracy of diagnosis; no ionizing radiation methods applied.
