SUBSTANCE: it is necessary to measure the thickness of pericardial folia in case of echocardiographic trial. Moreover, one should measure average values of epicardial thickness and that of parietal folium of pericardium excluding the sites of their greatest thickening, and measure the thickness of epicardium along its posterior wall, and at epicardial thickness being above the thickness of parietal folium of pericardium it is possible to diagnose initial stage of constrictor pericarditis. The innovation enables to carry out earlier diagnostics of constrictive form of chronic adhesive pericarditis, conduct dynamic control for the development of initial stage of constrictive pericarditis and increases sensitivity, specificity and accuracy of diagnostics.
EFFECT: higher efficiency and accuracy of diagnostics.
