FIELD: mechanical engineering; load lifting facilities.
SUBSTANCE: proposed tower crane includes tower extending device containing hydraulic station, hydraulic pump communicating with working liquid tank, hydraulic distributor and crane upper part telescopic hydraulic cylinder, and also first and second safety valves. It contains additionally shutoff check valve and fluid couplings, and lower part on which upper part of crane is installed for movement, and mounting holder found on tower of crane lower part. Crane is provided with devices for free suspension of tower section to be mounted secured on upper part of crane with possibility of turning from horizontal position into vertical position. Hydraulic cylinder is arranged on mounting holder from side of mounting holder opposite to suspension devices, or on one of its sides.
EFFECT: provision of safe and reliable operation of tower crane with tower extending device.
