FIELD: instrument engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of analytical instrumentation and can be used in gas detectors in the control of inert gases by oxygen. Potentiometric solid-electrolyte cell constitutes a test tube made of zirconium ceramics, an inner porous platinum electrode, an outer porous platinum electrode, an electrical contact of the inner porous platinum electrode, an electrical contact of the outer porous platinum electrode; wherein the area of the outer porous platinum reference electrode is decreased, namely, the outer electrode does not fully cover the end part of the test tube of the PSEC.
EFFECT: possibility of installing a temperature sensor along the end surface of the PSEC, increase in the accuracy of maintaining and measuring temperature, and increase in the accuracy of measuring the concentration of oxygen in the tested gas.
