FIELD: medicine, surgery.
SUBSTANCE: the present innovation could be applied in practical health care for removing the inserted concrement in the mouth of major duodenal papilla. It is necessary to detect the size of the inserted concrement: at its diameter up to 0.6 cm one should fulfill 2-3-fold thermal tangential impact with an edge electrode with a ball tip onto area of the mouth of major duodenal papilla at duration of 0.5 sec at interval of about 2-3 sec, at power being 2.0-2.3 W. The innovation enables to remove the inserted concrement of the mouth of major duodenal papilla due to atraumatic thermal impact onto area of the mouth of major duodenal papilla and provides physiological reconstruction of biliary passage.
EFFECT: higher efficiency.
