FIELD: mechanical engineering; gas compressing facilities.
SUBSTANCE: proposed compression plant and devices operating with said plant are designed for use at cooling and/or liquefying of gas, particularly, natural gas when well or higher-pressure gas main line is located near. Compression plant contains piston two-stroke gas-expansion machine and two piston compressors. Movable parts of piston two-stroke gas-expansion machine and piston compressors are either rigidly or mechanically connected to each other, or have common rod, or form integral unit, and they are enclosed in common housing. Device for cooling of gas includes compression plant and at least one heat exchanger-regenerator whose cooling agent input is connected to gas output of two-stroke piston gas-expansion machine. Device for gas liquefying includes compressor and one heat exchanger and/or gas expansion machine and device for separating liquid and gaseous fractions, for instance, vortex tube, installed in tandem in direction of cooled gas flow.
EFFECT: simplified design, increased economy at compression, cooling and/or liquefying of gas, reduced gas leakage.
