SUBSTANCE: the technical result is in increasing of resolute capability on an azimuth and an angle of place in prescribed elements (diapasons) of distance with expansion of the observation zone on the azimuth and the angle of place and in increasing accuracy and quick-action of evaluation of the amplitudes of signals in synthesized elements of resolution on angular coordinates. The mode of observation over the surface and air situation on the multi-channel airborne radar basis in the mode of a real beam with an electronic scanning is in forming a matrix of three-dimensional radio-images of the surface or air situation. At that due to quick electronic switching of the radar beam the beam on azimuth and the angle of place is switched line-by-line correspondingly to the value (2n-1) and (2m+1) part of the width of the diagram of direction of the antenna with dimensions (2n+1)(2m+1) of the elements of quantification and process the amplitudes of signals received at each position of the beam at the output of the multi-channel system of receiving elements by way of their summing up with weights calculated beforehand according to a definite method, as a result the amplitude image is formed in coordinates distance-azimuth-angle of place with increased accuracy of evaluation of amplitudes in the elements of quantification of the azimuth and the angle of place and correspondingly with increased resolution on angular coordinates.
EFFECT: increases resolution capability.
