FIELD: the invention refers to radiolocation.
SUBSTANCE: the achieved technical result of the invention is in expanding of the field of application of the mode of definition of an angle of approach of an air target in case of forming a supporting function at processing of the images of ground radar stations with an inverse synthesizing of the aperture of an antenna. The essence of the invention is in that for definition of an angle of approach of an air target it is necessary, besides the Doppler frequency of the signals in a ground radar station reflected from an air target, additionally measure and calculate the Doppler frequency in an additional receiving position, an angle between the directions "radar-target" and "radar-additional receiving position", an angle between the directions "additional receiving position- target" and "additional receiving position-radar", a be-static angle between the directions "target-radar" and "target-additional receiving position".
EFFECT: improves definition of an angle of observation of an air target.
