FIELD: biotechnology.

SUBSTANCE: the present innovation deals with inoculating lactic-acid bacteria or enterobacteria onto the inferior layer of nutritive medium being a beef-extract agar, applying the superior layer of nutritive medium that contains disubstituted potassium phosphate, magnesium sulfate, L-asparagin, glycerol, citric acid, citric-acid ammonium iron, humivit, agar, aqueous solution of hen egg's yolk and distilled water onto the inferior layer, the inoculation of the superior layer of nutritive medium with a culture of indicator strain of mycobacteria followed by detecting antagonistic activity which should be evaluated according to the quantity of colony-forming units (CFU) inhibiting the growth of 1-5·103 CFU of indicator strain of mycobacteria/ml suspension. The innovation enables to detect antagonistic activity of lactic-acid bacteria and enterobacteria to pathogenic mycobacteria.

EFFECT: higher accuracy of detection.
