FIELD: digital transformation of information, namely, generators of programmable impulse delay.

SUBSTANCE: to achieve the effect, the device which contains digital delay line (2) synchronized with support generator (1), a set of outputs of which is connected to corresponding information inputs of first and second multiplexers (3,4), additionally features a phase interpolation block (5). Outputs of multiplexers (3,4) are connected to corresponding inputs of the phase interpolation block (5), the set of outputs of which is connected to information inputs of third multiplexer (6). Combined address inputs of the same name of first and second multiplexers (3,4) and address inputs of third multiplexer (6) are used respectively as higher and lower bits of digital code used to program the delay time.

EFFECT: increased precision of delay time due to improvement of time resolution.
