FIELD: robotized vacuum cleaners.
SUBSTANCE: robot-vacuum cleaner has driving unit for moving over surface to be cleaned, distance determining unit for determining distance that vacuum cleaner had moved by means of driving unit, and unit for detecting obstacles in the vicinity of robot-vacuum cleaner. Central data processing unit provides movement of robot-vacuum cleaner along straight line by certain distance from obstacle according to movement pattern when obstacle detecting unit detects obstacle. Obstacle detecting unit uses various distances when obstacle is detected, and sends movement signal to driving unit.
EFFECT: increased efficiency and improved covering of surface to be cleaned.
