FIELD: electrometallurgy, namely processes for making copper belts or thin foils by acting upon solution with electric current.
SUBSTANCE: method comprises steps of preparing aqueous solution of electrolyte; extracting copper out of electrolyte for further continuous deposition of it by action of electric current onto rotating titanium surface immersed into electrolyte; removing copper deposit from rotating surface in addition subjected to preliminary treatment before immersing it into electrolyte by means of sprayed hydrogen-saturated stream of weakly acidic solution containing copper ions.
EFFECT: possibility for improving quality of metallic belt, improved resistance of belt against atmospheric influence, lowered quantity of low-quality belt.
