FIELD: protective devices, particularly anti-theft device to be used in shops and supermarkets for article demonstration.

SUBSTANCE: anti-theft device comprises container including pivotally connected the first and the second parts. Stop slider is installed in the first part so that the slide may be displaced between engagement position and free position. The second part has bead, which defines L-shaped slot. The first slot section is transversal to free bead end and is opened at said end to receive stop slide extension therein as stop slide is in released position. The second slit section is transversal to the first one and receives the second part of said extension as stop slide is in engaging position. Blocking means, which blocks stop slide in engaging position, may be activated by means of special means for stop slide disengagement and for stop slide displacement in released position.

EFFECT: simplified structure and increased device reliability.
