FIELD: measuring technique.

SUBSTANCE: device can be used for measurement of dynamic and static changes in spaces between metal objects. Device has transmitting and receiving metal electrodes, which electrodes are placed in same plane and attached to first metal object via dielectric washer. Transmitting electrode is made in form of open circuit around receiving electrode. Additional electrode in form of open circuit is formed around receiving and transmitting electrodes. Transmitting electrode is connected with output of high frequency oscillations generator. Receiving electrode is connected with input of second metal electrode's local area profile detector. Output of profile detector is connected with input of minimal distance detector. Outputs of all detectors are connected with input of space analog signal former. Ends of additional electrode are connected with inputs of differential amplifier, which has output connected with input of amplitude detector. Mutual position and state of first and second objects can be measured due to elimination of end effects of capacitive measuring device and due to inspection of magnetic field induced electro-motive force in open circuit, which emf is proportional to value of space.
