FIELD: manual control of moving objects, in particular, control of movement of vessels with varying displacement and purpose in narrow sections of fairwaters.

SUBSTANCE: device for producing and displaying information for guiding a vessel through narrow sections of fairwaters contains device for measuring longitudinal vessel speed vector, device for measuring vessel coordinates, device for measuring course of vessel, device for measuring speed of vessel body rotation in horizontal plane and external energy-independent memory, connected by outputs to input of microcontroller, and graphic screen, connected to output of microcontroller, where the microcontroller is made with possible computation of distance between nose of the ship and beginning of narrow fairwater section, value of speed at which the ship approaches the beginning boundary of narrow fairwater section, coordinates of projection of predicted position of center of gravity of vessel, boundaries of projection current position of vessel body and boundaries of projection of predicted position of vessel body onto axis oX of rectangular system of coordinates in horizontal plane, where positive beam oY coincides with given vessel movement trajectory in narrow section of fairwater, oX axis is the beginning boundary of narrow fairwater section, o - beginning of narrow fairwater section.

EFFECT: increased precision of manual guidance of vessels through narrow sections of fairwaters, reduced influence of human factor in the operation under various meteorological conditions, including complicated meteorological conditions.
