FIELD: medicine; ophthalmology.
SUBSTANCE: current form "Ampli-pulse" apparatus is applied to point active electrode applied to point of attachment of oculomotor muscle. Frequency and depth of modulation are registered as well as current amplitude, at which parameters the fibrillar contraction of muscle occurs. Then current parameters are registered during testing of symmetrical muscle of other eye. Achieved parameters are subject to comparison and muscle of damaged eye is subject to diagnostics by using reduction in modulation frequency, increase in modulation depth and amplitude meaning of current.
EFFECT: widened range of means for diagnostics.
