SUBSTANCE: the invention is pertaining to reprocessing of the polymeric composite articles of the annular shape, for example, the industrial rubber goods, the worn and rejected reinforced tires and their parts. The method of cutting of the annular shape article by means of the disc-type cutter and the supporting roller provides, that the subjected to the cutting article is fed in the cutting area. The cutting is exercised by putting the annular article at an angle on the cutting disk so that the edge of the article directly contacts the cutting area. Then exercise cutting of the article at an angle to its central plane along the spiral till the complete cutting the whole article with formation of the spiral band, the length and width of which depends on the feeding angle of the annular article th the cutting disk the knife. The invention ensures the cutting through of the carcass-breaker tread band of the tire into the bands of the required dimension.
