FIELD: technological processes.

SUBSTANCE: method of cutting of composite items of annular shape with the help of disk knife and support roller with annular dent, in which cut item is fed to the cutting area. Cutting is performed by disk knife during its contact with support roller in the dent area, in which knife blade partially enters. Orientation of cut item in relation to cutting area is executed by feeding roller, and supply of cut item into cutting zone is carried out by means of item pressing between knife and support roller. Item supply to the cutting zone is provided at the angle to the plane that is orthogonal to axes of disk knife and support roller rotation, and angle of supply roller incline is equal to the angle of item supply to the cutting zone.

EFFECT: invention makes it possible to produce rubber tape with preset dimensions of width and length; to simplify process of cutting and increase its efficiency.
