FIELD: mechanical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention is aimed at improved design of fishplates for rail joints and it can be used in devices with rolling guides. Proposed fishplate has upper and lower heads and neck with holes for bolts. Upper head is provided with step with inclined end face and support surfaces and two axial stops. Step accommodates beam with support surfaces of wheel flange and cross section in form of trapezium. Proposed fishplate is provided with hold-downs with inclined surfaces in contact with side surface of beam. Base-plate with elastic properties is arranged between beam and support surface of step. Support surface of step is made curvilinear with profile in longitudinal section reflecting elastic line of base bending under beam load. Support surfaces of beam for wheel flange are made with tilting from rail head. Hold-downs are installed on slot tilts from outer end face surface of fishplate.
EFFECT: increased service life of fishplate, reduced intensity of rail wear in butt joint.
