SUBSTANCE: method involves recording electroencephalogram EEG and constant potential level CPL and comparing them with respect to measurement parameters variability and functional and metabolic condition is determined during the same time interval. CPL becoming shifted in negative direction and EEG power increasing, in accompanying neuron activity depolarization, bad functional and metabolic nerve cells condition is determined. CPL becoming shifted in negative direction and EEG power falling, in accompanying neuron activity depolarization, worse functional and metabolic condition is determined. CPL becoming shifted in positive direction and EEG power increasing in accompanying repolarizing neuron activity after depolarization inhibition or hyperpolarizing activity, good functional and metabolic nerve tissue condition is determined. CPL becoming shifted in positive direction and EEG power falling in accompanying repolarizing neuron activity after depolarization activation or hyperpolarizing inhibition, very good functional and metabolic nerve tissue condition is determined.

EFFECT: qualitatively new approach to determining nerve tissue condition.
