FIELD: manufacturing processes in machine engineering, namely methods for finishing and strengthening complex-profile parts.

SUBSTANCE: method comprises steps of placing blank in chamber with multi-member deforming tool in the form of micro-balls or balls; imparting rotation to blank and imparting lengthwise feed motion to said chamber. The last includes through openings in its two mutually opposite walls in order to form path for passing blank. Chamber includes two shoes having concave cylindrical surfaces and locks with shock absorbers arranged in through openings of chamber. One shoe is movable and it is jointly coupled with wave-guide. Multi-member deforming tool is arranged between cylindrical concave surfaces of shoes and blank and it embraces blank. Pulse load and static load are applied to deforming tool. Pulse load is applied by means of first hydraulic cylinder where wave-guide and striker are mounted. Static load is applied by means of second hydraulic cylinder acting upon first hydraulic cylinder.

EFFECT: enlarged manufacturing possibilities, improved efficiency, quality and accuracy of working.
