FIELD: power engineering.
SUBSTANCE: hydrogen accumulator comprises a tank submerged into a Dewar flask and a device to inject and discharge hydrogen. The tank is made in the form of round pipes 1 or a solid metal structure with longitudinal cells in the form of hexagons 2. Pipes 1 and cells 2 are tightly sealed by cylindrical or hexagonal bottoms 3, and at the other end enter into bushing necks 5, fixed to the bent pipes 6 of smaller diameter that meet in a single receiver 7 or 8. The receiver 7 is a pipe arranged between round pipes 1, and the receiver 8 is made in the form of a ball or a cylinder. The Dewar flask consists of thermal insulation 9, an inner reservoir 10 and an outer reservoir 11. Pipes 1 or cells 2 of the tank are filled by loose material 21 (carbon nanotubes, graphene or activated charcoal).
EFFECT: hydrogen accumulator provides for storage of hydrogen with considerably higher mass that available designs of accumulator of this type, it provides for hundred times higher quantity of accumulator charging cycles compared to high pressure cylinders from stainless steel coated with a shell from organic plastics.
