FIELD: construction, particularly ground deformation determination.

SUBSTANCE: method involves applying working tip of ground deformation measuring device to ground in horizontal direction with the use of casing pipe arranged in ground, wherein ground deformation measuring devices and loading means are installed in casing pipe orifices; serially determining deformation properties of ground over total settlement zone in top-down direction in each layer obeying the following condition: hi≤0.4b, where hi is current layer height (thickness) and b is foundation bottom width.

EFFECT: increased efficiency and reliability of ground deformation properties investigation and extended functional capabilities.
