FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: method involves testing blood plasma using iron-induced chemiluminescence. Optical sum is measured, intestinal coefficient is determined as ratio of optical sum and patient small intestine diameter. The coefficient value being less than 1.30 relative units/cm, functional state of the intestine is estimated as reduced one and dynamic intestinal bowel obstruction occurrence is predicted.

EFFECT: high accuracy of the estimate.
