FIELD: medical means for treatment of malfunctioning vertebral column, used in neurology, physiotherapy, traumatic surgery, orthopedics, for treatment of vertebral column diseases and injuries of non-infectious nature, correction and prophylaxis of lumbar and chest region diseases by vibration massaging combined with thermal relaxation of paravertebral muscles and ligaments.
SUBSTANCE: apparatus has hollow casing having working surface formed as bed with rectangular cut in its head portion and thermal unit with sections disposed at opposite sides of said cut, knee board disposed above bed leg portion and equipped with vertical columns. Incorporated within casing are movable platform mounted on guides and having longitudinal movement mechanism with electric drive, massaging carriage pivotally connected to support and provided with pairs of rollers-massaging devices disposed in said cut, electric vibrator mounted on massaging carriage, lift mechanism, lift level sensor and program unit with outside control panel and emergency button. Input of program unit is joined to output of lift level sensor, and outputs are joined to electric drives of vibrator, longitudinal movement mechanism and thermal unit. Vertical columns of knee board are connected to cross movement mechanism having electric drive. Lift mechanism is fixed to casing and attached through flexible shaft to handle disposed on casing. Longitudinal movement mechanism with electric drive is fixed to guides whose one ends are pivotally joined to casing and other ends are disposed on lift mechanism. Support for massaging carriage is fixed to movable platform. Vibrator is disposed on said carriage in the vicinity of pair of rollers-massaging devices maximally remote from bed head portion where patient's head is positioned. Pivot joint between massaging carriage and support has damping sleeve. Pivot joints between guides and casing are formed as rubber bushings placed between ends of guides and casing bracket. Output of program unit is connected to electric drive of cross movement mechanism.
EFFECT: elimination of harmful effect of vibration upon units and mechanisms of apparatus, enhanced reliability in operation, reduced negative effect of vibration on patient's head, and increased therapeutic efficiency.
