FIELD: manufacture of transformable furniture.
SUBSTANCE: sofa-bed or armchair-bed has bearing construction, back, seat, transformation mechanism, and back lifting mechanism comprising bearing member, back supporting member, at least one lever having one end pivotally connected to bearing member and other end pivotally connected to bed or armchair back. Back lifting mechanism may be provided with two L-shaped levers whose one ends are pivotally connected to bearing member and other ends are pivotally connected to back.
EFFECT: increased efficiency by reducing force needed for lifting of back, enhanced reliability in operation, reduced weight and sizes, and wider operational capabilities.
