FIELD: chemistry of heterocyclic compounds, chemical technology, biochemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a novel class of compounds representing derivatives of 4,5,6,9-tetrahydrothieno[3,2-d]azocines that can be used as inhibitors of acetylcholinesterase. Invention describes a method for synthesis of derivatives of 4,5,6,9-tetrahydrothieno[3,2-d]azocines that involves interaction of derivatives of thieno[3,2-d]pyridine with equimole amount of dimethylacetylene dicarboxylate or methylpropiolate, or acetylacetylene at temperature 20°C. After removal of solvent the prepared residue is ground in mixture of ethyl acetate with hexane or in ether to the crystallization state of the reaction product. Proposed method provides synthesis of the novel heterocyclic system, namely, 4,5,6,9-tetrahydrothieno[3,2-d]azocines, for a single step.
