FIELD: measuring technique.
SUBSTANCE: method comprises projecting tree light beams with a laser on outer sides of the solid, moving the solid along the rails, focusing the light reflected from the surface of the solid in the special device whose optical axis is inclined to the direction of the projection and is at a constant distance from the laser, and recording the light signal with a photodetector.
EFFECT: reduced time it takes for measurements.
