FIELD: measuring technique.

SUBSTANCE: method comprises measuring temperature of the heat-transfer agent with a hot-wire anemometer when the AC source is disconnected, supplying AC to the wire from the source, measuring the temperature of the heated wire when the source is connected, and determining the temperature difference. The power is determined by measuring the voltage and drop in the hot-wire anemometer circuit and their averaging for a period of exposition the beginning, end, and duration of which are chosen with regard to the characteristic time of relaxation processes. The velocity of the heat transfer agent is determined from the formula presented.
