FIELD: self-propelled robot systems capable of detecting movement areas, home robot systems.
SUBSTANCE: the system contains a remote controller and a body of self-propelled robot. The remote controller saves floor coordinates information, received through wireless communication line from the robot body, in memory, displays that information on indication block, sets a row of coordinates information elements, inputted by user, as information about coordinates in movement area and transmits information about coordinates in area of movement to the body of the robot. The robot body reads information about coordinates, printed on floor cover, extracts full information about coordinates from read information, transmits full information about coordinates through wireless communication line as floor information about coordinates to remote controller, reads information about coordinates, printed on floor cover, and moves while tracking movement area coordinates information on floor cover, which is received through wireless communication line from remote controller.
EFFECT: possible easy detection of movement area of self-propelled robot.
