FIELD: invention refers as to measuring technique so as to analytical chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: it may be used at measuring and following computation of isotope compositions of some chemical elements present in shape of simple chemical compounds. The mission is in development of effective mode of mass-spectral definition of different chemical compounds with accuracy and expressiveness of analysis. Substance of invention is in that registration of intensities of peaks of isotopes is executed in characteristics mass-spectrum researched compounds with using of program registration block controlled by computer. At that, at first they define the most probable W(i) kinds of molecular ions for each isotope peak and its value on basis of isotope of summary flow of molecular ions. Then they define isotope combinations for carbon, hydrogen, oxygen and nitrogen and atoms of metals at their presence using mathematical formulas for correlations of isotope peaks.
EFFECT: provides possibility of simple identification of chemical compounds and their fragments in arbitrary combinations, increases operability and accuracy of definition of isotopes and also acceleration of definition of sought chemical compounds.
