FIELD: electrical engineering; clamps for four-conductor cables.
SUBSTANCE: proposed suspension clamp has body provided with suspension hinge and hook- or C-shaped supporting member designed to take suspension cable through its open side. Clamping lever is designed to close open end of supporting member and is free to move toward supporting member by means of hand-operated clamping mechanism that incorporates screw provided with tightening wing nut. Body has recess or depression disposed between suspension hinge and supporting member to receive first end of closing clamp. Recess or depression has several sequential adjusting grooves configured to receive closing clamp pin or pins in arbitrary grooves. Clamping mechanism is mounted on second end of clamping lever and has spring for loading clamping lever so as to load pins in direction of deflection to adjusting grooves.
EFFECT: simplified design, enhanced reliability, ability of fast and easy pre-adjustment and manual tightening, for instance by means of thumb screw.
