SUBSTANCE: invention provides photobiocatalyst comprising immobilized enzyme and solid carrier, said immobilized enzyme being hydrogenase contained in quantity 0.1-2.3 nmole per 1 cm² carrier surface, and said carrier being nano-structured mesoporous titanium dioxide film prepared from titanium dioxide nanocrystals 15-25 nm in size and having specific surface area 50-100 m²/g on glass substrate with conducting coating. Invention also provides a method for preparing photobiocatalyst via immobilization of enzyme on solid carrier involving adsorption of enzyme on the carrier surface in buffer solution medium. Also provided is hydrogen generation process in anaerobic conditions in presence of above-described photobiocatalyst and organic electron donor under irradiation by UV light at λ=365 nm.

EFFECT: enabled preparation of photobiocatalyst allowing light radiation-assisted high-rate hydrogen generation.
