FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: proposed rotary-bulb lamp has radiation source mounted within bulb that mounts lamp base with internal and external threaded parts joined together by means of spring-loaded retainer disposed in slot on side surface of insulator provided with contact strip; it also has locking device preventing unidirectional rotation of base parts within each other; open butt-end area of base inner part is threaded.
EFFECT: reduced manufacturing cost and enhanced quality of lamp.
