FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: sulphanes from sour gas produced during manufacturing of hydrogene sulfide with Н2S content over 80 vol.% and Н2Sn (where n is a number from 2 to 8) polysulphanes content of 100 to 2000 vol. ppm, mainly over 400 to 1500 vol. ppm, are removed by purging sour gas through the wash system. Sour gas is contacted with water and/or methanol, which results in pure gas.
EFFECT: invention provides for increase in gas purification degree as regards to polysulphanes.
