FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: method includes stages: (a) partial condensation in partial condenser 4 of first gaseous or partly liquid raw material flow, including H2O, H2S and NH3, with mole ratio H2S:NH3 less than 0.4; (b) passing water condensate, which includes NH4HS and NH3, from partial condenser 4 into reactor 9, in which said condensate is subjected to contact with third raw material gas flow 7, which includes H2S and with water solution 10, which includes NH4HSO3 and (NH4)2SO3, with formation of water solution (NH4)2S2O3; (c) passing gas flow, which includes NH3 and H2S, from partial condenser 4 to mixer 13, in which said gas flow is fully dissolved in water, flowing out of aerosol filter 25; d) passing second raw material gas flow, which includes approximately 2/3 mole of SO2 per NH3, contained in first raw material flow, into absorber 21 and aerosol filter 25; (e) passing water solution, obtained in mixer 13, into SO2-absorber 21; (f) passing waste gas from absorber 21 to aerosol filter 25, calculated by chemical equation of water amount necessary to obtain approximately 40-65% wt (NH4)2S2O3 in water solution of (NH4)2S2O3, removed from reactor 9. Invention allows to covert 99.9% of all sulfur and all ammonium in raw material flows into (NH4)2S2O3.

EFFECT: increase of product output.
