FIELD: heating, drying.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the technique of drying solutions and suspensions that allows obtaining a granulated product with improved hygroscopic properties and may be used in various branches of the chemical engineering and petrochemical industry. In a plant for drying and baking that comprises piston pump for supplying initial solution, filter for separating impurities, spray drier meant for drying and granulating, for instance, catalyst from the solution, cyclone for trapping end product and forwarding it to a screw or a band end product conveyer, fan, heat generator, exhaust fan forwards flow of recycle (off-grade fines) via a filter to a Venturi scrubber where it is collected into a tank, then the pump supplies solution to the scrubber and the fan supplies drying agent via the heat generator into a baking apparatus, wherefrom a discharger discharges end product to a pneumatic conveyer cyclone by means of a pneumatic conveyer fan via a pneumatic conveyer filter into a suspension tank. Moreover, the spray drier comprises a group of spray nozzles, each of them having the form of an acoustic spray nozzle and comprising housing that contains barrel and rod with a conical flange forming an acoustic generator with a resonator, both having the form of concentric annular slots.
EFFECT: improving the drying and baking efficiency.
