FIELD: chemical technologies and allied industries.
SUBSTANCE: invention is designed for drying solution to produce granulated product. Proposed plant for drying and calcination catalyst contains plunger pump to deliver initial solution, spraying drier designed for drying and granulating catalyst from solution, cyclone to entrap dried product, fan, heat generator, smoke exhaust, Venturi scrubber, recycle collector and pump to deliver solution into scrubber. Plant contains admixture separating filter through which said smoke exhaust directs recycle flow into Venturi scrubber, auger or belt conveyor for dried product onto which dried product is directed, calcinator into which drying agent is delivered by fan through heat generator, discharger, pneumotransport cyclone, pneumotransport fan, pneumotransport filter and suspension container. Dried product is delivered from discharge into cyclone of pneumotransport by pneumotransport fan through pneumotransport filter into suspension container.
EFFECT: increased efficiency of drying and calcination processes.
