FIELD: weapons.
SUBSTANCE: proposed invention pertains to bullets for a hunting riffle with a rifled barrel, having a jacket made from soft flexible material, which does not contain lead, and a core, joined to the jacket and made from material which is softer than that of the jacket. The bullets for the hunting riffle have a thin walled head, and on the jacket on the point of transition from the bullet head to the rear part, with considerably thicker walls, there is a sharp edge protruding outside. Inside the bullet there is a groove running into the wall of the jacket and filled with the core material. The bullet mushrooms in the body of the game animal with considerable increase in cross section and in that case, is insignificantly destroyed and has a considerable residual weight (90% or more).
EFFECT: increased effectiveness of firing due to non-destructible bullets when they hit the target.
