FIELD: construction, engineering.

SUBSTANCE: control of the condition of reinforcement of underground parts of concrete support of an overhead contact system, consisting of a mounted indicator model, made from the same material as the reinforced support. In the concrete support, assessment of the state of reinforcement of the underground support of the contact system is done on the thickness of the model and the time duration before destruction. The model is mounted around reinforcement; the model is brought into contact with the reinforcement at one point. The ends of the model are joined to insulated conductors, the ends of which are lead out to the support surface. Through periodical measurement of the resistance of the model, the breaking moment is determined.

EFFECT: accuracy of determining the condition of the reinforcement of underground support of a contact system.
