FIELD: transportation.
SUBSTANCE: device for joining end walls to sidewalls of a body frame of a railway open wagon has end (1) and side (2) walls, which have top cords, straps, stands and cover plates. Plate (14) is welded on to the end face (12) of the front face of corner post (8). Strap (5) of the end face is welded on to the other side of plate (14). Cover plate (10) of the end wall is rigidly fixed to the end part of plate (14) which is directed inside the corner post. Cover plate (10) is also rigidly fixed to cover plate (11) of the sidewall, resting on end face (15) of plate (11).
EFFECT: invention increases durability and longevity of carriage body and reduces labour input on assembling carriage body.
