SUBSTANCE: invention refers to agriculture and food industry, specifically to methods and facilities used for development of grain and leguminous plants before storage and treatment. Method of grain drying implies that grain is transported through space equipped with preheated drying agent at low air pressure and auxiliary simultaneous repeated heating with high-frequency radiation. Grain dryer comprises vertically mounted drying chamber divided into several zones with diffusers, grain feed bin mounted above drying chamber, dosing unit with input and output connected to grain feed bin output and drying chamber input respectively, grain unloading bunker input of which is connected to output of drying chamber, drying agent track mover, drying agent branch duct, connected to drying agent offtake zone of drying chamber located in upper part of drying chamber, heat energy source of drying agent preheating with input connected to output of heat agent track mover, drying agent track channel with input connected to output heat energy source of drying agent preheating and outputs connected to inputs of drying agent feed to drying chamber, and energy sources of microwave frequency mounted in active zones of drying chamber and equipped with outputs connected inputs of microwave frequency supply to drying chamber, in addition zones of drying agent feed to drying chamber contain inputs of drying agent feed sectional area of which increases by zone height, and drying agent offtake zone contains output of drying agent offtake, and drying agent track channel between drying agent track mover and heat energy source of drying agent preheating is fixed input-output of drying agent with variable flow section to ensure communication of drying agent track channel with environment.

EFFECT: improved efficiency of grain drying process preventing degradation of edibility characteristics and biological properties.
