TWO-CHAMBER GRAIN DRIER Russian patent published in 2008 - IPC F26B17/12

Abstract RU 2318169 C1

FIELD: agricultural engineering.

SUBSTANCE: proposed two chamber grain drier is designed for drying seed, bread and fodder grain, mixed food and for dehydrating other loose and granulated materials. Two-chamber grain drier contains first drying chamber with grain agitators, input to feed grain into first drying chamber forming input of grain into grain drier, output to let out grain from first drying chamber, input to feed drying agent into first drying chamber and output to let out drying agent from first drying chamber, grain transportation channel, drying agent transportation channel, drying agent charger connected by input in drying agent transportation channel with open air and drying agent heater. Grain drier contains also ozonizer connected by drying agent transportation channel with output of drying agent charger. Second drying chamber with grain agitators is connected by drying agent transportation channel with input to feed drying agent with output of ozonizer, and by outpoint to let out drying agent, with input of drying agent heater whose output in drying agent transportation channel is connected with input to feed drying agent of first drying chamber, and mechanism to suck out drying agent connected by drying agent transportation channel with output to let out drying agent from first drying chamber and by output, with open air. It contains also grain transportation mechanism, first, second, third and fourth gates. First gate is connected in grain transportation channel with output to let out grain from first drying chamber and by output, with input of grain transportation mechanism. Second gate is connected in grain transportation channel with output of grain transportation mechanism and by output, with input to feed grain into second drying chamber. Third gate is connected in grain transportation channel with output of let out grain from second drying chamber and by output, with input of grain transportation mechanism. Fourth gate is connected in grain transportation channel with output of grain transportation mechanism, and by output, with input to feed grain into first drying chamber. Two chamber grain drier provides reduced energy intensity of drying process by 5-8%, as compared with known grain driers.

EFFECT: improved reliability and increased service life.
