FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: measuring capacitor microphone (MCM) includes membrane, rear electrode with perforation, two insulation rings and a number of fastening parts for the case assembly of MCM. Membrane is simultaneously spread over the working surface of the case. Membrane edges are firmly nipped between the case and insulation ring. Movement of rear electrode with the first insulation ring pinned to it creates clearance between the membrane and the rear electrode. A membrane of desired diametre is cut out and inserted into MCM case. The main MCM unit is assembled in the following order: arrester and the first insulation ring are put on the rear electrode, then another insulation ring is screwed onto it up to the stop, and a special nut and lock-nut are set consequently on the construction. The assembled unit is inserted into MCM case from the rear side of the membrane. The membrane is finally tightened by screwing the rear electrode in until the surface is flat without corrugation. Rear cavity of MCM is connected with atmosphere by capillary perforation.
EFFECT: lower cost.
