FIELD: blasting.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of drilling and blasting in hard rock and may be applied in various industries where low-impact blasting, including blasting under covering, is used for rock masses on the surface. A wedgeable metal stemming plug comprises a lattice cylinder formed by corrugated bars passing through holes at the edge of the disc and having their heads at the top and their bevel ends at the bottom of said cylinder. A hollow spacer cone is inserted into the bottom of the lattice cylinder and fitted with: an elastic gasket at the bottom and a flexible connection at the top, said connection passing through the central hole in the disc to a connecting element.
EFFECT: improving the efficiency of rock fragmentation by blasting due to long-lasting blocking of detonation products in the charge cavity by means of a wedgeable metal stemming plug till the moment of final fracture of the surrounding rock.
