FIELD: blasting.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of drilling and blasting in hard rock and may be applied in various industries where low-impact blasting, including blasting under shelters, is used for rock masses on the surface. A combined wedgeable stemming plug comprises a lattice cylinder formed by corrugated bars passing through holes at the edge of the disc and having their heads at the top and their bevel ends at the bottom of said cylinder. A hollow spacer cone is inserted into the bottom and fitted with a flexible connection passing through the central hole in the disc towards a connecting element. Furthermore, the borehole portion below the spacer cone is filled with a bulk inert material up to a length of two or three borehole diameters.
EFFECT: improving the efficiency of rock fragmentation by blasting due to long-lasting blocking of detonation products in the charge cavity by means of a wedgeable metal stemming plug till the moment of final fracture of the surrounding rock.
