FIELD: blasting.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of hard rock drilling and blasting and may be applied in various industries where blasting operations in rock mass are used. A wedging stem is made of metal and represents a lattice cylinder formed of corrugated bars passing through holes at the edge of a disc and having heads at their upper end and chamfers at their lower end. A hollow spacer plug comprising conical portion and cylindrical portion with not less than three cutouts along the cylinder generatrix is inserted to the bottom of said cylinder. The hollow spacer plug is provided with a flexible connection passing through the central hole of the disc to a connecting element. The supposed invention aims to solve the engineering problem of enhancement of the efficiency of rock blasting by long-term blockage of detonation products in a charge cavity with a wedging metal stem until complete fracturing of the surrounding rock.
EFFECT: enhancement of the efficiency of rock blasting.
